After Rain Comes Sunshine..

Well, that's the saying. I've not had the best days, first I was phoned that Nikita wasn't feeling very well. She had colic, luckily this got better after 2 injections from the vet. And this weekend my dad fell down the stairs, he's broken a back vertebra and has a fracture line in his upper arm. Nikita is doing really well and we are riding again and my dad came home from hospital this morning. Besides that, I've got a lot of nice things to look forward to next week, so sunshine after all.

I've also received a mail this morning saying my Riorondo order has been shipped, I really hope it comes in time so I can finish my western set before the liveshow.

Arabian Costume WIP

I don't really remember when I started this costume, but it is finally starting to look like a costume. And ofcourse, I ran out of yellow DMC thread.. Hopefully I can buy some this week and finish it!

Western Set - Progress

It's almost finished, just need a bit, conchos, reins, and a saddlepad. Should be ready for my next show on the 22nd of October.

Vacation is Over

Yes, back to work, real work. I found a new job and have just started my second week. I now work at MultiVlaai, which is a cake shop! I quit my old job as a waitress last week, and now I work more hours which means more money for fun stuff!

Last Saturday I went to Horse Event, the biggest horse related event in the Netherlands. It was awesome.

I've started working on tack again this week; a non silver stamped western saddle set is in progress. I've almost finished the saddle:

Scotland 2011

I've just returned from my 3 week trip around Scotland, what an amazing country!
