I didn't do as well in the Halter classes as in the Perfomance classes, but there was lots of eyecandy to drool over.

Liveshow Groningen 2011 - Performance

I went to my last liveshow for this year, it was held on Saturdag in Groningen. My Performance didn't do as well as I had hoped but my models rocked the Mini Performance. The DQC (Dutch Qualification Championships) were also held in Groningen, you need a qualifying card to be able to participate. These cards are given to the overall 3rd, overall reserve and overall champions of all the shows in the Netherlands. So the DQC has just a few classes; OF, mini OF, CM, AR(all of these a separate breed and color class), Perfomance and Mini Performance.

I won the DQC Mini Performance last year and I won it again this year.

After Rain Comes Sunshine..

Well, that's the saying. I've not had the best days, first I was phoned that Nikita wasn't feeling very well. She had colic, luckily this got better after 2 injections from the vet. And this weekend my dad fell down the stairs, he's broken a back vertebra and has a fracture line in his upper arm. Nikita is doing really well and we are riding again and my dad came home from hospital this morning. Besides that, I've got a lot of nice things to look forward to next week, so sunshine after all.

I've also received a mail this morning saying my Riorondo order has been shipped, I really hope it comes in time so I can finish my western set before the liveshow.

Arabian Costume WIP

I don't really remember when I started this costume, but it is finally starting to look like a costume. And ofcourse, I ran out of yellow DMC thread.. Hopefully I can buy some this week and finish it!
