Liveshow Amstelveen - Halter

A little later than planned but here are some halter pics. No OF's because I was too busy running around making sure everyone was in the right class.

Liveshow Amstelveen 2011 - Mini Performance

As you may have noticed in the last post, we do not have a lot of Performance classes. There is usually 1 Western Class, 1 English class, 1 Driving class, 1 Arabian Costume class, 1 Spanish Class, 1 Other Costume class and 1 Other class. In the Mini Performance we only have 4 classes, and in this Liveshow I was on my own except in the Mini English class. Usually I have more competition.

Liveshow Amstelveen 2011 - Traditional Performance

I worked my butt of last week to get everything finished for the Liveshow in Amstelveen this Saturday. Fortunatly, this was not for nothing and I'm really pleased with how my performance setups did.

One of my western setups got first in the western class.

And my newly finished arabian costume also won it's class, which is a first for me. :)

Ofcourse there were a lot of other amazing setups like this spanish one and below the winner of the driving class. I wasn't able to take a lot of photo's of the performance as my dressage doll refused to hold the reins on my Salinero. I was really short on time becuase of this and quickly tacked up the rest of the horses, but Salinero was not shown.

But the biggest suprise came later as my PAM and arabian costume became Overall Performance Champion! She won a really big trofee and a gorgeous Collecta Friesian, the new ones are amazing and I will definitely get some of the others.

I got one too!

I enjoy reading other hobby related blogs, so why not make one of my own? Well here it is!

I'll try and post at least once a week, mostly about the hobby and my horse or other real horse things that I find worth posting. And other random things. :)

So, a bit about me; I'm Daphne and I live in the Netherlands. I've been in the hobby since februari 2006 and I'm what I would call a DIY hobbyist, I make and show my own tack and sometimes I customise. I've been a horselover as long as I can remember and have been riding for almost 11 years. In 2007 I bought a haflinger mare, Nikita. I mostly ride dressage with her but she is also a very good jumper.

Such a pretty pony :)
